Saturday evening Julian Farrugia was representing our country in the Prix de Rencontres Internationales which for the first time was being raced at the Hippodrome de Wallonie in Mons Belgium.
Finishing 3rd this was one of the best results ever achieved for our country as Julian Farrugia was up on the podium for the presentation. This race was disputed between 16 drivers all hailing from different countries and it was won by Olga Bondar from Ukraine followed by the French driver Pierre Yves Verva.
During a gala evening, the owners of Cesar du Bouillon were presented with a commemorative token as this horse was the Best French Trotter in Malta during 2018.
