At a press conference held at the Malta Racing Club premises, Dr Matthew Brincat, Club Chairman launched the new club website www.maltaracingclub.com.

Mr Mark Vella, Marketing Director browsed through the newly launched website showing the various links and information available. Amongst the most interesting features one can easily follow any racing meeting online, as race results are uploaded in real time, and you can also view the photo finish of each and every race.

The website also features valuable information regarding Drivers, Jockeys and Horses, with all data showing both in graphical and numerical version. Mr. Vella said that “since the new committee was set up, the Club felt the need to have all data on a computerised system first, and then to make most of this data available only within a new webpage.”

Dr Matthew Brincat concluded that “today the world wide web is an online display of what Malta has in store, especially for tourism or for any Maltese living abroad that would like to follow, in our case, Horse Racing”
