Paul Galea to represent Malta in Romania


On Friday harness racing driver Paul Galea left for Romania in order to participate in the 3rd leg of the Mediterranean and Black Sea Horse Racing Championship which will be raced on Sunday afternoon at the Mangalia racetrack.


 


Galea had participated in this year’s first leg which took place in Malta where he had finished in third place. Sunday’s race will be disputed between 6 drivers coming from Serbia, Italy, France, Hungary and hosts Romania apart from Malta. He will be driving 4-year old Cono San that is trained and races in Hungary and will be starting with number 5. The previous two legs of this championship have been won by France and Italy.


 


Paul Galea is accompanied by Malta Racing Club’s Horse Owners’ Representative Mario Baldacchino.
