European Championship for Amateur Drivers

Next Thursday Michael Ellul will be participating in the European Championship for Gentlemen drivers at the Racetrack of Dagfling in Munich Germany.

This is the first time that Malta will be participating in this competition after the Malta Racing Club became a member of FEGAT, the European Federation for Amateur Trot Drivers, in January of this year. It is also the first time that Michael Ellul will be competing abroad and thus the first time that he will be wearing the red colours of Malta.

Ellul will leave Malta on Tuesday accompanied by the Chairman of the Malta Racing Club Edwin Borg and the Public Relations & Media Coordinator Lorraine Cunningham who for the first time will be attending the FEGAT General Assembly.

Michael will be participating in four races over 2100m together with 13 other drivers hailing from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands and Russia.
