The Malta Racing Club will be holding the 23rd and 24th Meeting of the 2010 season on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd of May. This weekend’s racing programme is one for long distance runners, with sixteen races being run over a distance of 3140m, the Top Horse Ltd Final over a distance of 2640m and a Flat Race for Thoroughbreds.

Top Horse Ltd Final
Twelve horses in all have qualified for the Final, which should prove to be a contested Final between horses in the Silver Category. During the last weeks a number of Condition races were held as qualifiers for the Final races scheduled this Sunday. The race starts at 15:50.

Two Premier Races
Two races for Premier Horses are also on the agenda for this weekend’s double racing programme. Seven new debutants will be running for the first time in Malta, namely:
