Friday evening Julian Farrugia will be representing Malta in the final leg of the Mediterranean Horse Racing Championship which will be raced at the Ippodromo del Mediterraneo in Syracuse.

The race is the seventh one on the card planned to start at 17:50. It is over the distance of 1600m and carries a total of €4180 in prize money. Farrugia has drawn Number 1 Stevemcqueen Treb.

Currently Malta is in 2nd place in the overall classification 4 points less than France and 5 points more than Italy. As this final race carries double points anything can happen so the final finishing order in the race is very important.
