The 2nd leg of the Mediterranean Horse Racing Union Championship will be raced on Saturday at the racetrack of Ploiesti in Rumania.  The Maltese representative is Clint Vassallo who has been driving since January 2001 and has won a total of 174 races.

The first leg of this championship was held in Malta on 31st March with Maltese driver Noel Baldacchino being declared the winner. This year the championship is being raced over 5 legs with the next ones being on 11th August in Russia, 23rd August in France and 7th December in Sicily.

Clint Vassallo is being accompanied by the Malta Racing Club’s Public Relations and Media Coordinator Lorraine Cunningham.
